Immunizations VFC and VFA Appointments are Required

Medical Providers: We encourage everyone to contact or find a primary care provider for their care, including immunizations. The resource guide has medical providers serving Jasper County, including Mercy One Newton Pediatrics, Newton Clinic, and Pella Clinics in Sully and Prairie City. 

Immunizations are only offered at Jasper County Health Department to fill in any gaps of service for Jasper County residents who qualify for the Vaccine for Children ( VFC) or Vaccine for Adults (VFA) programs.. 

Immunization Appointment Required: All immunization appointments require an appointment. Please contact Kristina Winfield, RN, kwinfield@jasperia.org or Call (641)787-9224, extension 2.  

Immunization Records & Recommendations:

For your immunization records, please check with your medical provider, hospital, parent/guardian, employer, school, or daycare. 

Jasper County Health Department is enrolled in the Iowa Immunization Registry System (IRIS), a secure Iowa statewide database of immunization records.
