Community Groups

Iowa 4-H Youth Development is the premier youth development program of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Providing research-based education to K-12 youth, Iowa 4-H focuses on Healthy Living, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Leadership and Civic Engagement, and Communication and the Arts. Iowa 4-H builds upon more than a century of experience in positive youth development partnering with youth to help them find their passion. 

• The Jasper County Cares Coalition (JCC) consists of numerous health, human services, nonprofits, law enforcement, health care, schools, etc. that serve Jasper County. Jasper County Cares aims to strategically address the health, safety, and well-being of individuals. We also focus on gaps of service in Jasper County.
• The meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of the month, except in January and July. Time: 10:30 AM at the Administration Building.

Newton Main Street volunteers include many individuals and groups from throughout the community. Each group has a particular focus and they all share the common goal of a strong downtown business district.

This nonprofit organization helps in serving the children of the community in various ways. Members meet at first and third Wednesdays at United Presbyterian Church at 11:50 AM.
